i reallyyyyyyyyyyy like my japanese new wave film class..... i think i like it so much because the workload is basically just watch movie, write review. and i get to do TWO research/analysis projects like omg!!!
ive realized that my taste in movies is just like weird asian cinema and also screwball comedies and movies that make me want to kill myself
1. holes - this is inexplicable. i quote it all the time. it might be the nostalgia. who knows. my daddy owns the lake... 2. visitor q - its a miike movie so it makes sense that its this gross and weird. but its so funny and that freaks me out. like what is wrong with me that the part where the kid laying face first in his mom's breastmilk made me giggle like a little fool! i like the movie though, miike makes sense to me like hes kinda vibes. gotta watch more of his movies. 3. burning - the best movie of all time. lee chang dong is a genius and murakami just like made himself into a bowling ball so lee chang dong could get a huge fucking 100 point game in bowling. 4. jaru jaru tower 2020 arigato - this is not really a movie its just a series of comedy sketches and i think about them all the time.
